Tasty Spiced Scrambled Tofu

Try mixing up your breaky with our tasty spiced scrambled tofu!


  • Medium sized fry pan


  • 1 pack/300g of silken tofu
  • Spring onion
  • Tomato
  • Avocado
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt, pepper & your choice of spices (we used a blend of Portuguese spices which you can buy from your local super market. This particular mix included; paprika, pepper, chili powder, cumin, oregano, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and bay leaf)
  • Coriander garnish
  • Dash of cold pressed olive oil or a bit of butter
  • 1 slice of multigrain bread

*Serves one


1. Open and drain tofu

2. Slice spring onions, tomato & avocado

3. Toast bread


1. Pop your fry pan onto a medium heat, add tofu block to the pan & use the spatula to scramble

2. Add a splash of soy sauce for flavour & let tofu simmer until all water is absorbed

3. Fold spring onions & spices through the tofu, place to one side of the pan

4. Add tomato to the pan & braise

Serve on toast with 1/4 of an avocado on the side, coriander garnish & an extra sprinkle of spices.
